Regional and Timezone

TrucklineMP uses your timezone preference to show local dates and times on events, notifications, and other time-sensitive content.

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Open the Regional tab
  4. Or go to trucklinemp.com/user/me/settings?tab=regional

Select the IANA timezone that matches where you live or where you plan convoys. Examples:

  • Europe/London
  • America/New_York
  • Europe/Berlin

Changes save when you confirm. Relative times (for example “2 hours ago”) update on the next page load.

| Feature | Effect | |---------|--------| | Events | Start and end times shown in your local offset | | Notifications | Timestamps in the bell popover | | Profile activity | Localized display where supported | | Forum | Datetime rendering when forum uses your account preference |

Some VTC tools (such as announcement quiet hours) use a timezone configured on the webhook, not your personal setting. See VTC Announcements.

  • Pick the timezone where you actually schedule events, not necessarily your physical location if you lead convoys in another region
  • Update your timezone when you move or change your primary play schedule
  • Event creators should still enter accurate UTC-backed times in the event editor; viewers see converted local times

Daylight saving changes are handled by IANA zones. Re-select your timezone if you recently traveled.

Discord messages and TrucklineMP event pages may use different display rules. Trust the event page on trucklinemp.com for official RSVP times.
